On March 29, 2012 I woke up hating meat.
Sound, smell, thought of it. Everything.
So here I am, delving into a whole new world of food.
Yesterday, after the god-awful bacon I had for breakfast, I didn't feel much like eating. I had a late, light lunch of a mozzarella-tomato sandwich with pesto along with some pita chips.
This morning I had pancakes with strawberries.
I packed myself a lunch carefully and thoughtfully. I made a little spinach and bean sprout salad. I packed some hummus. I cut up mushrooms and strawberries. And I packed some yogurt.
I found it to be pleasant. The salad was a little lacking. I think next time I will put seeds or beans in it and some onions.
For dinner, I made quinoa pasta with a tomato sauce. I added chopped onions and bell pepper and crumbled tofu into it too. My wife, who is leery of vegetarianism, loved it.
